These Japanese knives are hand-forged, shaped, hardened, sharpened, polished, cleaned, and carefully packaged in 5 layers. The hammer marks on the blade give it a unique look – no two knives are identical. The knife also features a pommel finished in the same style as the blade. Unlike most Forged series, the VG10 knives are made from Japanese VG10 Steel with a hardness of 60 Rockwell. All Forged VG10 knives have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The handle of the VG10 line is made from unique Burlwood. The knives are individually packaged in a luxurious wooden box with a 10-year warranty.
