The Forged Intense Santoku knife 14 cm is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word 'santoku' means 'three virtues', a reference to the three cutting functions the knife can perform: slicing, dicing, and mincing. This versatility makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. Forged Intense knives are made from Japanese 440C Steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand-forged, have a blade thickness of 2 mm, and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 14 cm Intense Santoku knife is packaged in a luxurious wooden box and comes with a 10-year warranty. Also available in an 18cm variant.
