This stainless steel downdraft saucepan with a special silicone lid is ideal for preparing sauces, but can also be excellently used for boiling eggs. The unique silicone ring in the lid ensures that the lid stays firmly in place during cooking and that condensation is drained through the opening on the side. An additional advantage of this is that safe pouring becomes even easier. Due to the hollow design of the handle and the fact that it only contacts the pan at two small points, the handle heats up much less quickly.
