Yes, up to 220°C. Above 220°C can damage a non-stick coating, so keep it below that. The handles do get hot in the oven, so use oven mitts to handle the pan.

Can the DUCQ wok go in the dishwasher?

Yes, but washing it by hand is better. Dishwasher detergent is harsh on the ceramic coating and won't remove burnt-on grease (carbonization). Warm soapy water and a soft sponge: it will last longer and cook better.

Does the handle get hot?

No, as long as you place the pan in the center of a suitable cooking zone. The handle only touches the pan at two small points, so very little heat is transferred to it. On a gas stove, flames licking up the side of the pan can heat the handle. And in the oven, of course, it will get hot.

Yes. DUCQ's ceramic non-stick coating is completely free of PFAS and PTFE.

Can a ceramic pan get too hot?

Certainly. Above 220 °C, the ceramic coating may chip. A powerful stove can reach that temperature at full power in a few minutes. So cook over low to medium heat: the 3 layers already distribute the heat well.

Which fat should I use?

Butter or oil with a high smoke point. Avoid olive oil or baking spray if possible, as they leave a sticky residue with frequent use (carbonization), causing food to stick to the pan.

Can I use a metal spatula?

Better not. Wood or silicone protects the non-stick coating. And don't tap the edge with your spoon.
