The ceramic grinding mechanism is corrosion-resistant and contains a rotor that mixes and aerates the salt to prevent clumping. The grinding fineness can be easily adjusted via the knob on top of the mill. The tighter you tighten it, the finer the grind – and vice versa. New Peugeot Zirlion Grinding Mechanism
Peugeot introduces the Zirlion grinding mechanism, made from Zirconium, an extremely hard and corrosion-resistant material. This new mechanism ensures a very fine and consistent grind, while remaining suitable for various types of salt, such as sea salt, rock salt, and seasoned salt. Thanks to innovative technology, the mill remains resistant to humid environments and offers superior performance compared to ceramic or steel grinding mechanisms. The Zirlion mechanism is exclusively available for u-select models and comes with a lifetime guarantee. The new salt mills will be available from March 2025.
