The Maestro salt mill forms the heart of the Salt Bar, combining innovation with ease of use. Equipped with the advanced Zirlion grinding mechanism and the u'Select system, this mill offers unparalleled grinding quality, from fine to crunchy salt.
Made in France, the mill features an elegant wooden body and a glass reservoir that is easy to unscrew and refill. It comes standard with pink Andean salt, rich in iron and known for its distinctive color. In addition, separate, compatible reservoirs are available, allowing different salts and aromatic mixtures to be easily interchanged.
The mill is suitable for dry coarse salt (max. 6 mm), but not for moist sea salt. With its innovative design and versatility, the Maestro is the perfect choice for lovers of refined flavors.
Peugeot introduces the Zirlion grinding mechanism, made of Zirconium, an extremely hard and corrosion-resistant material. This new mechanism ensures a very fine and consistent grind, while remaining suitable for various types of salt, such as sea salt, rock salt, and flavored salt. Thanks to its innovative technology, the mill remains resistant to humid environments and offers superior performance compared to ceramic or steel grinding mechanisms. The Zirlion mechanism is exclusively available for u-select models and comes with a lifetime warranty. The new salt mills will be available from March 2025.
