Apricot
Apricot smoking wood gives a bacon-like flavour, similar to Hickory smoking wood, but is milder and sweeter. This smoking wood is excellent for cheese, turkey, chicken, pork, and fish.
Apple
Apple provides a mild, subtle, and sweet fruity flavour and colours your ingredients dark brown. This smoking wood is excellent for poultry, lamb, and pork.
Acacia
Acacia smoking wood provides a spicy and earthy flavour. This smoking wood is excellent for poultry, beef, and pork.
Use a Woodchipper to easily add smoking wood without losing temperature in your Kamado. Smoking wood can be used both wet and dry. When used dry, there will be no drop in temperature in your BBQ, and the smoking wood will impart a light smoky flavour. With dry use, smoke develops immediately. If you choose to soak the smoking wood first, the wood will release a more intense smoky flavour. The temperature in your BBQ will drop, and steam will develop first.
