To achieve ultra-bright sharpening results, HORL® has combined the principles of the HORL® sharpener with the knowledge of Japanese knife sharpening experts. This has resulted in the HORL® Kagami. In Japan, sharpening experts produce this Kagami sharpening stone especially for HORL®.
A new level of sharpness
After sharpening with the HORL® whetstones fine and extra fine, you can use the HORL® Kagami. This allows you to achieve incredible sharpness, which sets new standards both optically and measurably. You will reach a completely new level with three times finer sharpening results than with regular Japanese whetstones.
Use the ultra-fine whetstone for at least 5 minutes per side of the blade for the best results. It is important to always clean the blade and the whetstone between sides so that no abrasive particles can scratch the mirrored edge. As a final fine finishing touch, lightly moisten the HORL® Kagami and use it for another minute on each side.
