A rock star in the kitchen since 1976, now in a new outfit. The Zwilling Vier Sterne Wood knife block holds five iconic knives in a block of FSC®-certified oak, with warm kotibé wood handles. Classic German steel, but with wood you'll want to touch.
This block contains exactly what you need. With the 10 cm paring knife, you can peel shallots and garnish like you're in a Michelin-starred kitchen. The 13 cm utility knife is your go-to for tomatoes, sausages, and everything in between. With the 16 cm slicing knife, you can cut thin slices of your Sunday roast. The 20 cm chef's knife is the boss of the cutting board: chopping, slicing, and finely dicing. And with the 20 cm bread knife, you can cut through a crispy crust without crushing the crumb. Five knives, zero excuses.
Zwilling forges each knife from a single piece of steel using a special steel formula exclusive to Zwilling. It's called SIGMAFORGE. The blades are then ice-hardened using the FRIODUR method. This makes them hard, sharp, and highly resistant to rust. The V-Edge grind gives you a razor-sharp edge, while the forged bolster provides balance and control. Your fingers stay where they belong.
You'll feel the biggest upgrade immediately. The handles are made from FSC®-certified kotibé wood: warm, sturdy, and beautifully balanced. The block itself is made from FSC®-certified oak (FSC® license code C-182665). This gives you a knife block you won't hide in a cupboard, but proudly display.
Inside is a removable flexible brush insert. You can place your knives in it however you like, without fixed slots. The sides are magnetic, so there is room for two to four additional knives. Want to buy a santoku knife later? Just hang it on the side.
Wash your knives by hand, dry them immediately, and put them back in the block. This will keep them sharp for years. The knives are made in Germany. The block weighs a total of 4.19 kg, item number 1035973. Looking for more knives? Check out our Zwilling knife sets.
