This is a very coarse grater from the Microplane Gourmet series. It is perfect for grating potato, apples, eggplant or cheese. Because this grater is so coarse, it is ideal for hard vegetables, cheeses, and for example, garlic and ginger. This grater also has a non-slip handle so that it does not slide during grating. You can simply put this grater in the dishwasher!
