Microplane is known for its sharp graters and has now created a special tool for garlic. With the garlic cutter, you can cut and grate garlic quickly and safely. The surgically sharpened steel glides effortlessly through the garlic; you barely need to apply any pressure.
How the Microplane garlic cutter/grater works:
Place the garlic cloves in the cutter, put the lid on, and move it back and forth. Your fingers remain safely away from the sharp grater. The garlic slices collect in the transparent container. You can add the garlic to your dish with the included spatula.
