This Japanese knife is hand-forged, shaped, hardened, sharpened, polished, cleaned, and carefully packaged. The hammer marks on the blade create a unique look – no two knives are the same. The knife also has a pommel finished in the same style as the blade. The handle is made of African Sebra wood, which provides a unique style.
The Japanese would say: Wabi-sabi. After years of use and maintenance, the knife develops its own character and becomes more unique with age.
