Suitable for all stainless steel Demeyere products and for other stainless steel surfaces, such as stoves and sinks. With a fresh lemon scent.

  • What do I use the Demeyere cleaning cream for?

    For cleaning and polishing stainless steel pans and other stainless steel surfaces. The cream removes stubborn baked-on food, burnt-on grease, discoloration, and white lime or mineral stains without scratching.

  • Can I use the cleaning cream on all Demeyere pans?

    On all Demeyere stainless steel pans: frying pans, saucepans, woks and sauté pans. Not suitable for pans with a non-stick coating (ceramic or PTFE), as the abrasive action can damage the coating.

  • How do I use the cleansing cream?

    Apply a small amount of cream to a damp sponge or directly onto the surface to be cleaned. Rub in circular motions, preferably along the grain of the steel. Then rinse thoroughly with water and dry immediately to prevent new stains.

  • Will the cleaning cream scratch my stainless steel pan?

    No. The cream has been specially developed to clean stainless steel surfaces without causing scratches. Do use a soft sponge or microfiber cloth and avoid steel wool or abrasive pads, as these will damage the surface.

  • Can I use the cream on other surfaces too?

    Yes, the cream also works on other stainless steel surfaces such as sinks, stoves, extractor hoods and refrigerators. Also suitable for aluminium, chrome, copper and enamel.

  • How do I remove stubborn burnt-on food residue?

    First, soak the pan in warm water with dish soap or deglaze it immediately after cooking. Then, apply the cleaning cream to a damp sponge and rub with light pressure. For very stubborn residue, you can let the cream sit for a while before rubbing.

  • Is the cleaning cream suitable for non-stick pans?

    No. Do not use the cream on pans with a ceramic (Ceraforce) or PTFE non-stick coating. The cleaning action can damage the coating. For non-stick pans, warm water and mild dish soap with a soft sponge is the correct approach.

  • How do I store the cleansing cream?

    Store frost-free with the bottle tightly closed after use. At room temperature and well-preserved, the cream will last a long time.

  • How long does a 750ml bottle last?

    With normal household use, a bottle will easily last a year or longer. You only need a small amount per application.

  • Does the cream also remove discoloration and blue or brown spots?

    Yes. Discoloration due to high temperatures and white lime or mineral stains are effectively removed. After cleaning, the pan looks like new again.

  • Is the cleansing cream environmentally friendly?

    The cream is phosphate-free and poses no danger to septic tanks. Avoid prolonged contact with painted surfaces and plastic.

  • Can I also use a regular stainless steel cleaner on my Demeyere pan?

    That is possible, but Demeyere cleaning cream is specifically formulated for Demeyere pans' Silvinox treatment and delivers the best results. Abrasive cleaning agents can damage the Silvinox coating over time.

  • Does the cleansing cream have a scent?

    Yes, the cleansing cream has a fresh lemon scent.

  • Which sponge or cloth is best for applying the cream?

    A soft, damp sponge or microfiber cloth will give the best results. Rub in circular motions or follow the grain of the steel for a clean, streak-free result. Then dry immediately.

  • Can I also use the cream on induction cooktops or the outside of the oven?

    Yes, the cream is suitable for all stainless steel and chrome surfaces, including the exterior of ovens, induction hobs, and extractor hoods. Do not apply to painted or plastic surfaces.
