Product information

PFAS-free

For complex sauces and delicate dishes, a high-quality conical sauté pan is an indispensable aid in the kitchen. This well-thought-out and durable design is one of our specialties and offers exactly what you need for effortless cooking. Thanks to the rounded shape of the Industry 5 conical sauté pan, you can easily stir and whisk lightly, ideal for dishes such as béarnaise sauce, pepper cream sauce, sabayon, or a creamy white chocolate sauce.

NEW: Since July 2024, Industry 5 pans are supplied with a welded rim. This means they can be washed in the dishwasher without problems.

Perfect heat distribution with 5-ply material
The solid 5-ply material, which extends to the rim of the pan, ensures that heat is distributed evenly. This significantly reduces the chance of curdling or burning and gives you complete control over the temperature. This 20 cm sauté pan is also perfect for sautéing endives, mushrooms, and other vegetables.

Ease of use and effortless pouring
The special pouring rim of the sauté pan makes it easy to pour sauces and liquids without spilling. The stylish stainless steel handle is comfortable to hold and stays cool for a long time during cooking. Cleaning is quick and easy; thanks to its rounded shape, you can reach everywhere with a sponge.

Silvinox® technology for long-lasting quality
Your sauté pan will look like new, thanks to Silvinox® technology, which ensures that the stainless steel does not discolour and is easy to clean. This smart, robust, industrial-style design, created by Belgian designer Stefan Schöning, offers years of cooking pleasure.

Suitable for all heat sources and dishwasher safe
The Industry 5 collection is developed and produced in Belgium and suitable for all hobs, including induction. The cast, blasted and welded stainless steel handles are not only sturdy but also extra hygienic. The sauté pan is completely dishwasher safe, so you can use it again quickly.

Product warranty and quality
With a 30-year warranty on manufacturing defects for domestic use, you are assured of a durable product. Whether you are a professional chef or cooking up a storm at home, this conical sauté pan is a reliable choice.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does the Industry 5 sauteuse work on induction?

Yes. The Industry 5 sauté pan works on all cooktops: gas, electric, ceramic, halogen, and induction. Tip: do not cook on the boost setting; it is intended for boiling water.

  • Can the Industry 5 sauteuse go in the oven?

Yes. Handy for keeping a dish warm or finishing it. The handles get hot, so handle it with oven mitts.

  • Can the Industry 5 sauteuse go in the dishwasher?

Yes, stainless steel is perfectly dishwasher-safe. The Silvinox treatment keeps the steel silver-white, even after many wash cycles. After a heavy cooking session, soaking for weeks in warm soapy water with a soft sponge is often faster.

  • Why does my food stick to the Industry 5 sauté pan?

Usually, the pan isn't hot enough yet, or you turn it over too soon. Heat it to about 70–80% of your stove's heat and do the water test: if water droplets roll around like marbles, it's ready. Only then add the oil (preferably one with a high smoke point) and then the food. Leave it alone: as soon as a crust has formed, it will release on its own.

  • Is the Industry 5 sauté pan PFAS-free?

Yes. There is no non-stick coating, only stainless steel. So no PFAS either.

  • How do I remove stains from my Industry 5 sauté pan?

White spots or a rainbow sheen are caused by limescale or starch. Pour a little vinegar or lemon juice over them, rub them in, rinse and dry. Bluish discoloration is caused by excessive heat: harmless, and can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner. Leave steel wool in the cabinet.

  • How many people is the Industry 5 sauté pan for?

Allow approximately 1 liter per person:

    • Ø18 cm, 1.5 liters: 2 people
    • Ø20 cm, 2 liters: 2 people
  • What warranty comes with the Industry 5 sauté pan?

You get a 30-year warranty on manufacturing defects under normal household use.

  • Do I need to season the Industry 5 sauté pan?

No. Stainless steel does not need to be seasoned. Preheating thoroughly and a little oil is all you need.

  • What do I get out of the 5 layers of the Industry 5?

5 layers is the golden mean: enough mass for an even bake, but lighter and faster to heat up than a 7-layer pan. Great if you frequently switch between high and low heat.

  • Where is the Industry 5 sauteuse made?

    In Belgium.
