Coravin Pure™ Argon Capsules are at the heart of Coravin Timeless and Pivot™ wine preservation systems. Filled with 100% pure Argon gas, these capsules pressurize the bottle, allowing you to pour wine without removing the cork – preserving the remaining wine perfectly.
How does it work?
1. Unscrew the capsule cup: Push the SmartClamps™ up and unscrew the capsule cup.
2. Insert the capsule: Place a Coravin Pure™ Capsule into the cup and screw it in firmly. Make sure there is no space left between the cup and the system.
3. Ready to pour: Push the SmartClamps™ down and enjoy your wine – exactly as the maker intended.
Pure gas, pure taste
Each capsule contains ultra-pure Argon gas, an inert and non-reactive gas that does not affect the taste, aroma, or structure of the wine. The gas replaces oxygen in the bottle and prevents oxidation, ensuring every pour tastes as if the bottle has just been opened.
