• How many ml fit into the YETI 6 oz Stackable Mugs?

  YETI Stackable Mugs hold 6 oz. That's just the right size for a flat white, cortado, or a double espresso with a little extra room. Not for a lot of coffee, but for good coffee.

• Why are YETI Stackable Mugs sold in pairs?

  Because good coffee isn't just for drinking. YETI sells them as a set of two so you always have one for someone else, or a spare if one is in the dishwasher.

• Do the YETI Stackable Mugs come with a lid?

  No, the mugs are supplied without a lid. If you'd like one, the small MagSlider™ lid fits. That's available separately. Please note: that lid is not leakproof, but it does keep the heat in longer.

• What exactly is the DuraSip™ Ceramic coating?

  It's a ceramic interior applied directly to the stainless steel core. It gives you the feel of a regular ceramic mug, but one that will survive a fall from the camping table. Coffee stains don't penetrate, and cleaning is easy.

• Do YETI Stackable Mugs keep coffee warm?

  Yes, but not as long as a larger YETI. Due to its smaller size, it has less insulating capacity. If you drink it quickly, that's not a problem. If you want to keep your coffee warm longer, use the MagSlider™ lid and preheat the mug with hot water before pouring.

• Do the YETI Stackable Mugs fit under my espresso machine?

  In most cases, yes. The mugs are low enough to fit under most espresso machines. If you have a machine with a very low spout, please check the height. The mug, including the handle, is slightly wider than a standard espresso glass, so also pay attention to the width of the spout.

• Can I also put tea or other hot drinks in it?

  The mugs are not exclusively for coffee, even though they are optimized for it. Tea, broth, hot chocolate – it doesn't matter. The ceramic interior does not absorb odors or flavors from previous drinks.

• Are YETI Stackable Mugs dishwasher safe?

  Yes. All YETI Rambler products are dishwasher safe. If you prefer to wash them by hand, warm water and dish soap will suffice. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.

• Are YETI Stackable Mugs microwave safe?

  No. Stainless steel and microwaves don't mix. Never put them in the microwave, or over an open flame or any other external heat source. This could damage the vacuum insulation.

• Can the ceramic coating wear off or peel?

  Not with normal use. The DuraSip™ Ceramic coating is scratch-resistant and directly fused to the stainless steel; it's not a loose layer that will come off over time. What you should avoid, however, are metal cutlery or stirrers scraping along the inside, as this can eventually damage the coating. If you just use it for coffee or tea and rinse it in the dishwasher, it will last a long time.

• Is the handle of the YETI Stackable Mugs sturdy enough?

  Yes. The handle is welded all the way around the mug, not clicked or screwed on. YETI itself calls it a "360-degree welded handle" and it's designed not to break off even if dropped. That's precisely the difference from a regular ceramic mug.

• Are YETI Stackable Mugs BPA-free?

  Yes. All YETI Rambler drinkware is BPA-free.

• Do YETI Stackable Mugs come with a warranty?

  Yes, five-year warranty. That applies to all YETI stainless steel drinkware.

• What's the difference between YETI Stackable Mugs and a regular ceramic espresso mug?

  A regular ceramic mug cools down quickly, breaks if dropped, and isn't suitable for outdoor use. YETI Stackable Mugs keep your coffee warm longer, can withstand bumps, and are just as easy to take camping as they are to use on your kitchen counter. The DuraSip™ lining gives you the familiar feel of ceramic, but in a mug you'll still be using five years from now.
