Tomasu Sambal, made from Madame Jeanette peppers, is an unexpected product in Tomasu's range. This unique sambal is created through a meticulous process where Madame Jeanette peppers and sesame seeds are steeped in Tomasu's Sweet & Spicy Soy Sauce.
It all begins at the Tomasu Soy Brewery in Rotterdam, where the soy sauce matures for over 24 months. After this intensive brewing process, the sauce is further developed into the sweet and spicy variant for another 6 months. Subsequently, the sambal ferments for another 6 months to achieve its ultimate flavour, before being carefully packaged. The result is a sambal with a rich, refined taste.
Ingredients: Time. Soy sauce (water, soybeans, wheat, salt), sugar, Madame Jeanette peppers, sesame seeds.
