The Coravin Pivot+ wine preservation system combines wine preservation and aeration in one elegant design. As you pour, the wine receives just that little bit of extra oxygen, allowing its flavors and aromas to fully develop. The remaining wine then stays perfectly preserved for up to 4 weeks – so you can enjoy a fresh glass anytime you feel like it. With this set of 6 extra Pure Argon capsules, you can pour up to 520 glasses of wine.
How the Pivot System Works
It's simple and smart to use.
1. Open the bottle and replace the original cork or screw cap with the included Pivot stopper.
2. Insert the Pivot device through the stopper to pour.
3. Thanks to 100% pure Argon gas, the remaining wine is protected from oxidation, fully preserving its taste, color, and aroma.
The system works with any still wine, regardless of the closure type. Ideal for daily use: even after weeks, the last glass tastes as good as the first.
Use with or without Aerator
With Aerator:
Attach the Pivot Aerator to the spout and tilt the bottle over the glass. Lightly press the button until the wine begins to flow in a gentle stream, then release. The wine is aerated directly as you pour – as if you had first let it breathe in a decanter.
Without Aerator:
Use the Pivot stopper and insert the system directly through the cap. Tilt the bottle and press the button to pour, release to stop. Just as simple, just as efficient.
