Let's get started!

  1. Drain the black beans and mash ⅔ finely in a large bowl. Then fold in the remaining beans.
  2. Finely chop the garlic, onion, and bell pepper and add them to the mixture along with the miso.
  3. Season with a little chili powder, smoked paprika powder, and soy sauce.
  4. Mix the eggs and breadcrumbs into the dough and let it rest for an hour.
  5. Divide the dough into portions and form balls. Grease them with a drop of oil and press them into nice burgers.
  6. Cut the buns in half and butter them. Toast the buttered sides until golden brown on the BBQ or in a pan.
  7. Fry the bean burgers until browned in a pan. For an extra delicious flavor, place the pan on a BBQ for 10 minutes afterward to absorb the smoky taste.
  8. Finely chop the spring onion and mix it with the bean sprouts, a little lime juice, oil, salt, and pepper.
  9. Time to build the burger! Spread mayonnaise on the bottom of the bun and top with finely chopped kimchi. Place the burger on top and cover it with the bean sprout salad. Spoon some peanut sauce over it and finish with some crispy onions. Enjoy!
