At Braadbaas, we are looking for a UX / Graphic Design intern starting September '26 who understands that every detail counts.
Okay, so you're a born designer who still works on digital wireframes and graphic art by moonlight while other students are hanging out in the pub, drunk as a skunk and unable to say 'boo' or 'bah'? Then we're looking for you! Come and do an internship with us. PS: we also occasionally hang out in the pub, drunk as a skunk... it would be fun if you joined us!
You'll join a close-knit team where ambition and creativity merge like cheddar and bacon on your burger. We take our work seriously, ourselves a little less so. You'll have the space to grow, experiment, and tackle real projects.
An internship at Braadbaas means immersing yourself in a world of webshop design (Shopify), print & flyer design, and above all, a lot of dynamism. You'll work in the middle of a rapidly growing retail and e-commerce company, where new opportunities and projects await you every day. We'll guide you in gaining new knowledge and insights, and you'll help us with your creativity and enthusiasm.
Sounds good? You can do this, because you:
- Are pursuing a creative HBO (higher vocational education) degree (CMD) or similar;
- Have a portfolio that shows how you work, not just what you make. Show us your process, your choices, your struggles, and your wins;
- Have a passion for design that's bigger than your screen. You want to get better, bolder, sharper;
- Are not afraid to give or receive feedback. Growth doesn't come from staying neat, but from getting your hands dirty and learning from mistakes.
What will you be doing?
- You'll scrutinize our webshop and advise on where we can improve the customer journey;
- You'll create designs, present and justify them, and help Jeroen implement them;
- In addition to UX activities, you'll also tackle graphic projects, such as designing posters, flyers, social posts, and you'll contribute to our magazine, Leesvoer;
- In short: you'll become an important link in the creative brain of Braadbaas!

Our ambition is to become the largest and most customer-friendly webshop in the field of cooking and roasting. Our store is located in picturesque Maassluis, and our office and warehouse are in Maasland (where you'll be most often).
What do we offer you?
We offer an incredibly dynamic and educational internship position at perhaps the fastest-growing cooking store/webshop in the Netherlands! Our office and warehouse are located near the Maasland Doelstraat bus station. We are a growing company, and if you enjoy your time with us, there might even be a job (or part-time job) waiting for you after your internship. During your internship, you will receive an internship allowance of €250 per month. You will work in a small but close-knit team: Founders Michael, Jeroen, and Bo, warehouse managers Remko & Rob, Content Queen Myrthe & our group of flex students!
