At Braadbaas, from September '26 onwards, we are looking for a Finance / Business Controller intern who preferably says 'You Bet Your Boots!'
Are you someone who gets excited about margin analyses, cash flow projections, and dissecting financial data down to the last decimal? Then we offer you a very instructive internship placement 💥
Interning at Braadbaas means immersing yourself in a world of data, dashboards, and lots of dynamism. You will work in the midst of a fast-growing retail and e-commerce company, where new opportunities, new figures, and new insights await you every day. You will help us understand where we are growing, where we need to adjust, and where the hidden goldmines are.
You will be hunting for better insights, tighter reports, and most importantly: more financial control. With us, you get all the space to let your talents explode within Finance, Operations, and Business Control. You can largely shape your internship yourself, and we won't be holding your hand continuously... so some independence is key! We have a small and friendly team, so we communicate a lot and directly with each other.
Sounds good? You can do this, because you:
- Are pursuing a financial, business administration, or business controller-related HBO (higher professional education) program;
- Work at least 3 days a week on Braadbaas analyses;
- Work independently and are not afraid of an Excel sheet with 20 tabs;
- Have an affinity for data, finance, and optimization (must);
- Have experience with Excel, data analysis, or reports, but most importantly, have an insatiable hunger for structure, insight, and improvement.
What will you do?
- Analyze sales data, inventory, costs, and margins;
- Contribute to financial reports, dashboards, and KPI overviews;
- Investigate where growth, waste, or opportunities lie within the company;
- Make processes within Finance and Operations smarter and more efficient;
- Contribute ideas on forecasts, budgets, and business cases;
- In short: become an important link in the financial backbone of Braadbaas.

Our store is located in picturesque Maassluis, and our office and warehouse are in Maasland (where you will be most often).
What do we offer you?
We offer an incredibly dynamic and educational internship position at possibly the fastest-growing kitchenware store/webshop in the Netherlands! Our office and warehouse are located near the Maasland Doelstraat bus station. We are a growing company, and if you enjoy your time with us, a (part-time) job may be waiting for you after your internship period. During your internship, you will receive an internship allowance of €250 per month. You will work in a small but close-knit team; Founders Michael, Jeroen, and Bo, warehouse managers Remko & Rob, Content Queen Myrthe & our group of flexible students!
