Casseroles are delicious, convenient, and easy to make! You can vary them endlessly, and while the oven does the work, your hands are free. We prefer to make casseroles in a ceramic baking dish like the Appolia from Peugeot. Ceramic ensures even cooking and keeps your dish warm on the table for up to 30 minutes. So, get into the kitchen and enjoy this colorful and flavorful casserole with pumpkin and parsnip.
Let's get started!
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a large baking dish with a little olive oil.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft. Then add the minced meat and season with rosemary and freshly ground pepper and salt, for example from a Peugeot pepper or salt mill.
- Cut the pumpkin and parsnip into cubes and mix with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and some salt and pepper. Spread the vegetables in the baking dish and add the minced meat mixture. Stir everything well.
- Pour the cooking cream evenly over the casserole and top with the grated cheese.
- Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!
Why a Peugeot baking dish?
Peugeot's ceramic baking dishes are manufactured in the factory in the heart of Brittany, France. They are designed to last and come with a 10-year warranty. The Appolia baking dishes are resistant to temperatures from -25°C to 250°C and can be used in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer! The colored enamel layer prevents your dish from sticking. In addition to casseroles, the dishes are also perfect for potato gratins, fish fillets, and desserts.
