Let's get started!
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla sugar.
- Add the egg, self-rising flour, and salt. Mix on the lowest setting until a compact ball forms.
- Form balls of about 3 to 4 cm. Flatten the balls with a spoon. Make sure the cookies have enough space around them.
- Bake the cookies for 13 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then indulge!
