Let's get started!

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla sugar.
  3. Add the egg, self-rising flour, and salt. Mix on the lowest setting until a compact ball forms.
  4. Form balls of about 3 to 4 cm. Flatten the balls with a spoon. Make sure the cookies have enough space around them.
  5. Bake the cookies for 13 minutes.
  6. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then indulge!
