Have you always wanted to learn to cut like a true chef? Now is your chance to learn! Together with chef Michka Chel from Kookstudio Hoeksche Waard, we are organizing a full-evening cutting workshop at our store.
What can you expect?
On Thursday evening, October 15th, we welcome a maximum of 16 people with a snack and a drink at our store in Maassluis. After the welcome drink and a short explanation, everyone finds their own spot. We'll have a chef's knife, a cutting board, and various vegetables ready for everyone! So you'll really be getting hands-on this evening.

What will you learn and do yourself during this evening?
- Which basic cooking utensils do you use in the kitchen?
- Explanation about different knives (how to hold and handle them)
- How to properly sharpen your knife with a honing steel
- Explanation and hands-on practice of cutting techniques. You will learn to Ciseler, Brunoise, CarrΓ©, and Julienne cut, among others.
- After cutting, you will also receive an explanation about sharpening your knife with a HORL knife sharpener. Want to try it yourself? You certainly can!
- During this evening, we will have several exclusive promotions on knives, cutting boards, and knife sharpeners. These promotions are only valid for attendees.

Taking the cut vegetables home
This evening you'll learn to cut like a pro, and we'll be using fresh vegetables for this. Of course, you're welcome to take the cut vegetables home with you, so you can make something delicious with them the next day. Please bring your own container or bag.

What's the cost?
Learn from chef Michka and have a fun evening for only β¬65 per person. This includes drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine) and snacks.

Because we are fans of chef Michka and have had very good experiences with her cooking workshops in Numansdorp. Chef Michka doesn't like food waste and therefore enjoys cooking with seasonal vegetables. Her cooking style is a combination of Italian, French, and Hoeksche Waard!
