Stainless steel interior, full heat

No coating, but a sturdy stainless steel interior. That means: searing meat like a chef, high temperatures, and a pan that lasts for years. The three layers (stainless steel-aluminum-stainless steel) distribute the heat quickly and evenly, so you don't get hot spots and cook more efficiently.

Comfortable handle

The ergonomic, hollow handle fits firmly in your hand and stays cooler during wok cooking. This gives you control over every toss, without the potholder dance.

Practical in the kitchen

After use, the wok can go in the dishwasher. Top diameter 28 cm, contact surface with the stove 16 cm. Suitable for induction, gas, ceramic, electric, halogen, and the oven. Please note: the lid is not included, you order that separately.

  • Does the DUCQ stainless steel wok work on induction?

    Yes. DUCQ designs its cookware specifically for induction. Gas, ceramic, electric, halogen and the oven are also perfectly fine.

  • Can the DUCQ stainless steel wok go in the oven?

    Yes. The handle does get hot in the oven, so use oven mitts to handle the pan.

  • Can the DUCQ stainless steel wok go in the dishwasher?

    Yes. Dry it afterwards with a soft cloth to prevent streaks. No abrasive cleaners or scouring pads: they scratch the stainless steel.

  • How do I prevent food from sticking in this stainless steel wok?

    Heat the pan for a few minutes over medium heat. Perform the water droplet test: if water droplets roll around like marbles, it is ready. Only then add oil and then the food. Do not turn it over too early. Keep it below 220 °C: above that, stainless steel can discolor or warp.

  • Is the DUCQ stainless steel wok PFAS-free?

    Yes. There is no non-stick coating: the inside is just stainless steel. So no PFAS either.

  • Does the handle get hot?

    No, as long as you place the pan in the center of a suitable cooking zone. The handle only touches the pan at two small points. On gas, flames licking along the pan can heat up the handle. In the oven, of course, it will get hot.

  • Does it come with a lid?

    No, you order the lid separately. For Ø28 cm, there is a separate DUCQ lid.

  • How many people is this wok for?

    For about 3-4 people.
